A New Partnership We’re Excited About
At BUBS Naturals, we’ve always believed in doing hard things, showing up consistently, and building a life around challenge, purpose, and community. That’s a big reason why we’re excited to share that BUBS is now an official sponsor of the Ruck Race League.
This partnership feels like a natural fit for us, and we’re proud to support a community built on grit, consistency, and purposeful self-improvement.
What Is Rucking?
If you’re new to it, rucking is simple: it’s walking or hiking with weight on your back, usually in a backpack or weighted pack.
It might sound straightforward, but that’s part of the appeal. Rucking combines endurance, strength, and grit in a way that’s accessible, challenging, and incredibly effective. You don’t need a complicated training plan, a special gym setup, or a ton of gear. You just need some weight, some miles, and the willingness to put in the work.
Rucking has roots in military training, but in recent years it’s grown into a broader fitness community. People are drawn to it because it builds physical and mental toughness, gets you outside, and offers a new kind of challenge that sits somewhere between hiking, endurance training, and functional fitness.
It’s simple, but it’s not easy.
What Is the Ruck Race League?
The Ruck Race League is a virtual rucking competition built for people who want structure, accountability, and a little healthy competition.
Each month, participants take on a new ruck challenge, complete it remotely, and submit their results to a leaderboard. It creates a shared experience without requiring everyone to be in the same place, which makes it a great fit for a growing national community of athletes and everyday people looking for something to train for.
That’s a big part of why we think it’s such a cool concept.
Why It’s a Great Fit for BUBS
We’re drawn to communities that value resilience, discipline, and a positive attitude toward discomfort. Rucking checks all of those boxes.
It’s straightforward, demanding, and deeply rewarding. It asks you to carry a load and keep moving forward. That idea feels pretty aligned with who we are and what we stand for.
We also love that it’s approachable. You do not have to be a pro athlete to start rucking. You can begin with a manageable amount of weight, head out for a walk, and build from there. But just because it’s accessible doesn’t mean it’s easy. Rucking has a way of testing you. It challenges your legs, lungs, posture, focus, and mindset all at once.
That blend of simplicity and toughness is a big part of why this community stands out.
BUBS is Taking on the Challenge
We’re also especially fired up because three team members, including our Founder and CEO, Sean Lake, are currently participating.
That makes this partnership even more meaningful for us. We’re not just supporting something from the sidelines. We’re backing a race series that our own team is stepping into. Sean’s involvement reflects exactly what we love about BUBS: lead from the front, embrace the challenge, and be part of the community you’re cheering for.
Join the Ruck Race League
We’re proud to support the Ruck Race League, proud to cheer on everyone taking on the monthly challenges, and especially proud to see Sean out there getting after it, too.
The 2026 season runs from March 1 through July 31, with a new ruck challenge released on the first of each month and the full month to complete it and log a score. Athletes who complete all five races can qualify for the in-person finals on October 17, 2026.
Check out the Ruck Race League and register here.
We’ll be sharing more throughout the season.
Let’s ruck.
